I began to study these web sites three years ago. The amount of carbohydrate being recommended has been cut from over 130gm per meal to 60gm per meal in most of the sites over this time.
Today most of the diabetes healthy meals are still carbohydrate dependent.
Diabetes Associations are still advertising "low fat" meals, which show their serious confusion.
It's impossible to be both low fat and low carbohydrate. So in the last three years they have removed about 180gm of carbohydrate a day from the diet, and replaced it with nothing.
I don't accept that you can simply replace those carbohydrates with green vegetables. The nutrition is simply not there.
Diabetes Associations are clearly offering badly outdated information. We suspect that's because of their links with food industry sponsors.
