Sarah Hallberg, DO, MS
The page Open Future Health intended to write has already been written by Low Carb Downunder, here, by Claire McDonnell Liu, Nutritionist.
We've been in this space for eight years, we'll try to find something else. So much; some not listed on other pages because they are very long. We've tried to show videos that are different here.
Open Future Health featured Dr Hallberg's Ted Talk on the Type II Diabetes page in 2016. Most of you will know that well.

A Tribute from Diet Doctor
Dr Bret Scher (5 minutes)
The world lost a hero with the untimely passing of Dr. Sarah Hallberg due to metastatic lung cancer. We can't begin to do justice to all that Sarah meant to us as individuals, as patients, and as colleagues. She will be forever missed, but her mission for patient advocacy will live on in all of us. She has touched and inspired so many lives and we owe it to her, and to ourselves, to continue her mission. We grieve for her loss and for her friends and family. Be at peace, Sarah.

Dr. Sarah Hallberg on Carb Restriction as a Sustainable Diabetes Treatment
Dr Sarah Hallberg (61 minutes)
Published by: By CrossFit - June 5, 2019
Dr. Sarah Hallberg made several career pivots—all fueled by her anger at unscientific and harmful practices perpetuated by the medical community—before becoming Medical Director at Virta Health. In this talk, delivered on Dec. 15, 2018, at a CrossFit Health event at CrossFit Headquarters, Hallberg speaks about some of those unscientific and harmful practices, specifically those pertaining to the management of obesity and Type 2 diabetes (T2D). She outlines the physiological problems inherent in treating T2D with insulin, the benefits of treating the disease with a carb-restrictive diet, and the data from a recent Virta Health study that demonstrates the positive effects of carb restriction.
