Training to be an Athletic Senior.

The difference between going for a walk, and training with the PURPOSE of building muscle, retaining balance and mobility, and trying to retain the ability to sprint (even for a short distance) is everything. Training has a purpose. Training will ALWAYS produce better health, (unless you do something really silly). Don't stop training, be the oldest person at the gym. Join a group, learn to dance or learn T'ai Chi Ch'uani, and do it until your last days.
