Teach Yourself the fundamentals of Better Health

Better Health is created by you, at home, at work and in the community.

NOTHING  I have learned in my year of training as a health coach can make YOU healthy.

The switch to make better health possible, has to be in YOU. It cannot come from outside. First you need to find it. That's where someone else might be helpful, but only when YOU are ready.

Doctors don't help, reading books doesn't help, websites don't help and nothing a health coach tells you will help, unless you can find the switch that allows you to make significant changes.

There are always real and valid reasons why your health may be declining.
If going to the doctor doesn't seem to help, maybe it's a lifestyle issue.
Making a commitment to change is scary, perhaps because you've tried before, and nothing works.
Real change takes time, it's not something you can turn on easily; even if you want to.

The sickness is in the community and "normal health" is killing people often ten or fifteen years too early.
Poor Metabolic Health isn't just getting older. You Can be Healthy.

A Quick Test of Functional Health

Can you eat without causing gastric reflux?
Do you weigh more than your BEST adult weight?
Can you stand in one leg and put a sock on the other foot?
Can your run 50 metres?
Can you get down on the floor and stand again without support?
Can you walk up the stairs to the third floor of a building?
Can you lift a grandchild from the floor and carry him or her?
Can you walk 600 metres in six minutes?

These are small functional aspects of health that you should still have in your 80's.

If your loss of functional health is beginning, what can you do? Take an interest! Follow up!

but YOU CAN.

Your first Health Plan can be quite simple.
Good health is created at home.
This is entirely private form to fill in.
You can improve you own knowledge about becoming more healthy.
Then you can write yourself a
PRIVATE PLAN FOR BETTER HEALTH.

We all believe many things about health that are not valid. We keep making wrong decisions; thinking "that's healthy."

If you can take the time to "deschool" yourself and re-learn, you can resolve these issues for yourself.

Unlearn your wrong knowledge.   Getting better dietary knowledge, takes time, maybe a year or more.

The eleven pages in the Introductory Section of the website, and the worksheets offered are one way to begin an upgrade to your health knowledge.

Below are several different ways to learn about improving your health.

Each way teaches very similar things, that will reinforce what you are learning.
