The Dietary Guidelines Ignore Metabolic Syndrome

In the guidelines text it's acknowledged that obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart disease are common.

But the term Metabolic Syndrome is not mentioned.

Therefore the idea that the dietary guidelines themselves might be the cause of metabolic syndrome is never the topic of interest.

The single cause of Metabolic Syndrome is the faulty diet we all eat.
