Breakfast is Dangerous

We've been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

You are likely to be in mild ketosis when you awake in the morning.

So breakfast is the easiest meal to skip. You often don't feel hungry.

If you need to lose weight, keeping insulin turned off at breakfast is important. Eating only protein and fat at breakfast time will achieve that. (So will fasting.)

The next challenge is to keep insulin "off" for most of the day.

Low Fat Breakfast Cereals

Breakfast cereals are tastless if they have no fat and no sugar, they won't sell.

Adding fruit to the cereals is one way to add sugar and flavour that looks more healthy.

But a more simple way is just to add sugar, or honey. Most of the cereals aimed at children do exactly that.
