Weight Loss Diets

Most of us have tried to lose weight, and failed. The Official Advice about how to lose weight makes mathematical sense, but that's not how your body works. The mathematics are based on physics, on a thermal oven. The body is biological; the body is controlled by the brain, and by hormones and enzymes; it's much more complex than a thermal oven.

Good News: You can diet successfully. But you may need a diet adapted for you by you.

Beginning the Banting Diet

Make the decision to return to your best adult weight.

Prepare yourself with as much new knowledge as you can absorb. While you are doing that, it might take six months, begin with the Take Out Diet. Read the four sections of this web site, or WWW Linkread Hugh Butlers book, or do the WWW LinkReal Meal Revolution Banting course. Local FileJoin one of our forums. Better still do all of that.

Begin the Take Out Diet by cutting out all the sugar in your diet. Sugar in drinks must be eliminated.

The next target is the cereals, bread, biscuits and cake in your life. Eliminate them.

It took me about a month to get used to this much change and to feel comfortable about it.

Get your health diary working, record how you are, and what's happening to you weight.

Try again to read as much as you can about the Banting Diet process. Buy some books if you like.

Your weight should be coming down by now. Remove the potatoes, rice and pasta from your diet.
